ONE LANE OPEN ON I-81 NORTHBOUND IN ROCKINGHAM COUNTY
STAUNTON – (11 a.m.) The left lane of northbound Interstate 81 has reopened in Rockingham County following a tractor trailer crash at mile marker 243 near Harrisonburg. The right lane remains closed as crews continue work to remove the wrecked vehicle.
Motorists should expect congestion on northbound I-81 and Route 11 in Harrisonburg and southern Rockingham County. Traffic on the interstate is currently backed up about four miles.
