Design is underway for a project to construct a roundabout at the intersection of U.S. Route 11 and Route 660 (Railroad Drive) in Smyth County. Roundabout projects have been found to enhance safety, improve traffic flow and cost less to build and maintain when compared to a traditional intersection.
