What's Being Done

The Wetland Compensation project is located on property adjacent to Aquia Creek in north Stafford County for the purpose of providing wetland compensation for impacts associated with the I-95/Route 627 interchange project in Stafford.

The project consists of grading, seeding, mulching and planting of various wetland trees, shrubs and grasses to create wetland cells adjacent to wetland/stream areas.

The fixed completion date of the project is April 1, 2006.
