Recently Completed: Rappahannock Community College Site Access Improvements

Construction will begin Oct. 1, 2018 on a project to extend the existing turn lanes and taper area at the entrance to the Rappahannock Community College campus on Route 33 in Gloucester County.
The project will improve access to a Park & Ride facility and a public transit stop at the Community College.
This Smart Scale project is fully funded. The total project cost is $625,000.
Motorists and community college traffic can expect work to be underway on Mondays through Fridays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Be alert for temporary traffic patterns at the turn lanes to enter the campus.
Construction will be completed by Dec. 14, 2018.
The project contractor is Howard Brothers Construction.
