This project will replace the existing Route 1 bridge over Potomac Creek. The new structure will be slightly wider, although the new bridge will continue to have four travel lanes.
The bridge is located on Route 1, just south of the intersection with Musante Lane, and Crane's Corner Business Park. It is located on Route 1 between the Exit 140 (Courthouse Road) and Exit 136 (Centreport Parkway) Interstate 95 interchanges.
Benefits
The new bridge over Potomac Creek will have an improved condition, and will be slightly wider.
