Recently Completed: Route 610 (Garrisonville Road) and Route 641 (Onville Road) Intersection Improvement

This $14.9 million Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) project will build double left turn lanes on eastbound Route 610 (Garrisonville Road) for traffic turning onto Route 641 (Onville Road). Triple left turn lanes will be built on Onville Road for traffic turning onto eastbound Route 610.

New pedestrian crossings are being installed on the north, west and south side of the intersection.

Approximately 44,000 vehicles a day travel through the intersection, according to 2015 traffic counts.

West of the intersection, Stafford County is widening Route 610 to six lanes between Onville Road and Eustace Road.
