About the Project:

The project includes adding dedicated right turn lanes for Ironbound Road North/South (Route 615) onto Route 5 East/West. The work will overlay the intersection and re-stripe approach lanes for northbound and southbound Ironbound Road.

The dedicated left turn lane on Ironbound Road into the food store Shopping Center will become a dual use left/through lane.

The road will be widened on Ironbound Road in front of the Shopping Center to allow for a dedicated right turn lane from Ironbound Road North onto Route 5 East. Re-striping Ironbound Road will accomidate the additional right turn lane from Ironbound Road South onto Route 5 West.

Additional Information:

One lane will remain open in each direction during construction.
