What's Being Done
This project begins just west of the main entrance to Grafton High School and Grafton Middle School from Route 17. The purpose is to realign Grafton Drive and make drainage improvements.
Features
Grafton Drive is an Urban Local Street that runs from 0.486 miles south of Route 630, Amory Lane, to 0.298 miles south of Amory Lane. This is a relocated 2 lane facility on flat terrain. The existing roadway consists of 2-11’ asphalt lanes with variable width unpaved shoulders. The improved facility will consist of 2-12’ asphalt lanes with curb and gutter. This will provide assess to Rainbrook Villas Condominiums. The existing entrance to Rainbrook Villa Condominiums from Route 17 will be deleted and traffic will be routed to Route 17 via the relocated Route 621.
Impact on Traffic
This project will require a detour to Route 17 by way of Route 630, Amory Lane. Most of the work will be completed during the daytime.Contacts
