Traffic Impacts
Motorists traveling on Route 31 should expect alternating lane closures beginning two miles south of the Jamestown-Scotland Ferry through July 2009.
Benefits
This project will increase roadway capacity and address safety deficiencies by providing standard lane widths in the project area. In addition, the third lane will relieve congestion by allowing local residents to bypass stopped ferry traffic.
