What's Being Done
Installation of a 425' concrete pavement pad on Route 29 southbound near the Route 695 overpass as part of a weigh-in-motion scale that will weigh vehicles as they are traveling at speed on the bypass.
Benefits
Once fully functional, this will allow trucks weights to be checked with the trucks remain in motion. This means a time savings for truckers relative to stopping or reduction in speeds.Contacts
