Chickahominy Riverfront Phase

This phase is complete and open for use. Riders can take it to the Chickahominy Riverfront Park in James City County.

The Chickahominy Riverfront Phase follows Route 5 for four and a half miles.

It runs from the Greensprings Phase at Route 614 to James City County's Chickahominy Riverfront Park.

The county and the Virginia Department of Transportation are working on a trailhead at the park, with the trail crossing the new Chickahominy Bridge.

Cost: $5 million  (Local funding for park acquisition and construction; 10 percent for trail)

Status: Complete
