Sherwood Forest Phase
This 13.5-mile segment will link the Charles City Courthouse Phase to the western bank of the Chickahominy River. The Capital Trail is being built across the Chickahominy River as part of the Chickahominy River Bridge Project which is currently under construction.
Cost: The combined estimated cost for design, right-of-way acquisition and construction of this phase of the Capital Trail is $12.3 million.
Status: This phase of the Capital Trail has been surveyed and is currently in design.
