Recently Completed: I-66 over Route 110 and George Washington Memorial Parkway Ramps Bridge Rehabilitation in Arlington County

This project rehabilitated the I-66 bridge over the ramp from northbound Route 110 to westbound I-66, and the ramp from southbound George Washington Memorial Parkway to eastbound I-66/westbound Route 50. The bridge was built in 1965.

Along the bridge, I-66 averages 99,000 vehicles a day.  

Estimated Costs
Preliminary Engineering: $430,000
Construction: $5.2 million
Total: $5.7 million

This project was financed with state and federal State of Good Repair funds used for maintenance of structures and bridges.

Benefits 

This project aimed to improve safety and extend the overall life of the bridge.
