Project Details
Replace Route 794 (Sangers Lane) Christians Creek bridge and approaches. This project is located east of the City of Staunton. The project will have two nine-foot lanes, two two-foot shoulders and four-foot ditches.
Project Benefits
Replacing a single-lane bridge built in 1910 with a new two-lane bridge. This will improve roadway safety in bridge area.
During Construction
Route 794 (Sangers Lane) is closed from Route 792 (Basley Road) to Route 642 (Barren Ridge Road). Bridge over Christians Creek, bridge replacement project. Road closed, 24 hours-a-day, seven days-a-week, April 27, 2009 to December 16, 2009

Suggested detour: Westbound traffic, take Route 792 south to Route 250 (Jefferson Highway) east to Route 642 north to Route 794. Eastbound traffic, take reverse of westbound detour.Contacts
